Award winning Royal Shakespeare Company actor with 20 years in television, radio and high profile theatre. Simon is a hugely respected actor and practitioner who has worked with some of the biggest actors, directors and companies in the world including the seasons at the Young Vic, Shakespeare’s Globe, and Royal Court. Simon won the Clarence Derwent Award in 2003 for his performance in the RSC’s Taming of The Shrew, a role which got him a nomination for the American Helen Hayes Awards. He has appeared in 12 productions for the RSC. His television work includes Vera, Richard 2nd: The Hollow Crown, Ordinary lies, The Good Karma Hospital and WolfBlood. Simon is currently playing Banzai in Disney’s The Lion King on the UK tour. In 2000 he won the BBC Carleton Hobbs Radio Drama Bursary Award.
