Simon Trinder

Award win­ning Royal Shakespeare Com­pany actor with 20 years in tele­vi­sion, radio and high pro­file theatre. Simon is a hugely respec­ted actor and prac­ti­tion­er who has worked with some of the biggest actors, dir­ect­ors and com­pan­ies in the world includ­ing the sea­sons at the Young Vic, Shakespeare’s Globe, and Royal Court. Simon won the Clar­ence Derwent Award in 2003 for his per­form­ance in the RSC’s Taming of The Shrew, a role which got him a nom­in­a­tion for the Amer­ic­an Helen Hayes Awards. He has appeared in 12 pro­duc­tions for the RSC. His tele­vi­sion work includes Vera, Richard 2nd: The Hollow Crown, Ordin­ary lies, The Good Karma Hos­pit­al and Wolf­Blood. Simon is cur­rently play­ing Banzai in Disney’s The Lion King on the UK tour. In 2000 he won the BBC Car­leton Hobbs Radio Drama Bursary Award.
