Our two year part time dip­loma is a rig­or­ous train­ing under world class artists at one of Bri­tain’s lead­ing inde­pend­ent drama schools.

Stu­dents pay a third of the reg­u­lar drama school fee and train over two years around their day job. 

Cur­rent second years have recently appeared in prime time tele­vi­sion and radio drama and been invited to audi­tion for high pro­file theatre.


An audi­tion ses­sion for those wish­ing to be con­sidered for the Inde­pend­ent Centre for Actor Train­ing’s Part-Time Dip­loma or our Artist Devel­op­ment Course

Please make your­self avail­able for the full day, 10am-6pm latest.  A group Action Mas­ter­class will be held from 10am-1pm. The first round of audi­tions will run from 2–4pm; recall audi­tions will be held from 4–6pm. 

If you book to attend the audi­tion, we would like you to pre­pare and per­form a mono­logue. The mono­logue can be clas­sic­al or modern and last up to two minutes. If you choose some­thing by Shakespeare, please learn some­thing in verse. Please wear loose com­fort­able cloth­ing and be pre­pared to move freely.

Please note that audi­tions are only avail­able to over 18s. There is a stand­ard £30 admin­is­tra­tion fee for auditions.
